Hello Mr. Emmanuel! I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with the rest of the world. I was so blessed to be given the chance to see you in concert and although I am but fifteen, my father and could name every single one of your many songs. My favorite: The House of the Risin' Sun. I am so glad that you came to Colorado, where I live and attend school. My aunt gave me a tape of you for my birthday, and I will have to admit, when i saw the cover I thought it was a joke. I thought it was just an out of style guy trying to make a living, but when I watched it I ate my words. For ever more, I will stride to play as well as you, though I doubt that will ever be possible! Thank you once again for the amazing concert at Colorado Heights!
From, Hopefully one of your biggest fans and admirers, Thomas Koenigs

Dear Tommycgp: My writing today is done in thankfulness and recognition for the blessing of you and your beautiiful, inspired and inspiring music. Thank you to Gina, other Tommyteam members and to Chet Atkins, another great musician and teacher. My music skills are growing and also have a bit of creative writing that emerges occasionally. Here comes some writing dedicated to you and Chet: (for the first time anywhere, a two page publication titled: Featherhead News, to be published in two +Son+day editions. Part one, today; Part two, next +Son+day. Editor-in-Chief: one devoted hawk-watching meadowlark. Managing Editor to be known as "A" ...price per copy: one ounce of the finest millet bird seed upon delivery of each edition. Contents: News and Views, Selected Quote, Up to the Minute News. Weather (if space allows), and a few ads that have passed quality control.
Hawk update: All is well with our hawks. The energy-filled breeze from their wings continues to uplift and comfort the ever growing following from all the bird nations. They know the light and are comforted.
Word has it that a song of antiquity might make an appearance within the next year. This song has been so totally forgotten that none of our feathered correspondents have ever heard of it. More to follow...
Bird chat: a certain meadowlark has a small, select feather collection (not for sale). She finds much beauty in the many shapes, colors and sizes of these feathers, so necessary for bird flight.
Just in time for publication: a new ad, just made the press deadline ... for sale, artfully constructed and decorated bird perch, done in mosiac of pastel egg shell, colorful and has easy grip features. Also, one duck pond, lease with option to buy. Said property covered in perpetuity, that no bird hunting to be allowed, ever... and last (for now)
... For sale: two dozen small jars of top-quality "insecta delecta", a bumper crop this year, especially tasty, in limited supply--these are sure to go as fast as tickets to Tommyconcerts. Contact this publisher at: BBN (bird-brain news) at your closest living tree. We value our association with trees. Please recycle. Especially recommended for lining bird cages. (At least two uses. That way our caged brothers and sisters get the news as well as clean dwelling space.)
Words of wisdom: quoting Ralph Waldo Emerson..."A man of genius inspires us with a boundless confidence in our own powers."
(This is my gift for you, Tommy and Chet. Something beyond price... a tiny bit of love and humor back to you for what you have done and are doing for so many of us. Play on. Thank you. +Blessings and Love+ A)

To Mr. Tommy Emmanuel
Hello Mr. Emmanuel. I'm WooHyung Kim living in Korea. Before I start, I want to apologize for my poor English.... you could have a hard time reading my mail. So do understand..
I'm doing my duty at Korea army. Almost all Korean men have to fulfill this duty. For me, because of this duty, I can't go to your concert this October... Ever since I knew I can't go to your concert, I felt heavy feeling in my mind.. Well,, yes.. I know... I don't cause any effect on your concert. Don't misunderstand me.. I'm not asking you to postpone your concert or anything... (and I know I'm not in a position to ask such a thing) I'm just... wanted for you to know that going to your concert is one of my biggest wish in my life. And your the first music artist who took my mind into the music.
I started guitar after watching you on a EBS TV show when you came to Korea at 2009. (as a matter of fact... I started guitar, as a hobby, a year later because of important exam) Playing a guitar, I found true joy in my life. I play guitar whenever I'm happy or sad. And now, guitar is one of my most important thing in my life!! And I thank you for leading me into it.
Although I can't go to your concert this year, I'll be waiting for your another concert in Korea. Or, if I could, I will follow your concert after I'm discharged from military service......!
Thank you for reading my mail. Have a nice day and good luck!
Your biggest fan
WooHyung Kim

My dad worked with Chet Atkins in the late 1970's when he was with RCA. We know that you're one of the selected few "CGP"'s !!! and would love to hear "Classical Gas" if you've got the energy tomorrow night in Cincinnati (9/9). We're really looking forward to the show and appreciate all that you do to encourage the young musicians.
Thanks so much.

WOW! My husband and I were at your concert last night, Sept. 7, in Kalamazoo, MI. We were supposed to go to your Grand Rapids concert last year, Sept. 29, but had to return home due to a double-fatal accident involving our house and a car. My husband "found" you and your music on the local PBS station and I was along for the ride! Well, you have a new fan. I could NOT believe what you can do on a guitar! AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your gifts.

Tommy,
I'm gonna take a very long shot here and ask to meet you. I have made my living with my guitar all my life. I'm 50 years old. To get to play a tune with you would be the high point in my very long career. I'm quite sure you get these kind of requests all the time but if you are feeling like making a life long Guitar players day, Please drop me a line.
Thanks for reading this.

Tommy,
You really know how to entertain! Your show last night in St. Louis (Sheldon Music Hall on 9-6-12) was another delightful experience thanks to you ! I've seen you several times in concert in my part of the universe and getting to finally meet you last night before the show was exciting. My momento's from our visit will be framed and hung in my music room with the other great guitarists I've been lucky to meet over the years.
Your playing has always been above and beyond most every other guitarist I've heard in the acoustic guitar world. I just wanted tyo thank you for such a great time, having finally met you in person and I apologize for offering you such lousy picks in my attempt to trade for one of yours.
