Tommy! Hello from California!
It's taken awhile, but I've actually just discovered you. Bravo good sir, you are a world class musician. Instantly started diggin' what you're doin' with that acoustic. You have inspired me to try new adventures on my acoustic and things could not of turned out better!
I would love it if you could make it out to the Los Angeles area. I have noticed that you're going to be in Malibu, so perhaps I will get a chance to see you then!

Sending those sunny so cal vibes!
Ben

Hello Tommy,
I´d like to thank you for another harmonious evening. I was at your concert in Berlin/Köpenick. Again an emotional time to get in the mood. Every time I hear you Play, it makes me smile. Thank you. Michael.

Hi Tommy, your music has inspired me to buy a guitar and take my first lesson at age 45. My wife and I just picked up tickets to your show in grand rapids at devos hall. It will be our first show and I am beyond belief excited to see you live. Thanks for all you do...you are an inspiration.

Regards,
John

Tommy,

My wife and I are great big fans and we were ecstatic we had the chance to see you at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem PA last year. We keep checking the tour schedule and hoping you will make it back this way soon.

Best Regards,
Rob

Hi Tommy, I've just acquired a Maton EBG808CL Performer and there's a slight bow in the neck. I removed the strings and felt around for a truss rod nut. I found a recess hole with a nut in it and give it a few turns to the right to tighten it but it doesn't seem to have made any difference to the neck. Is this a truss rod nut or a nut that might be to help hold the neck to the body ?. I can't think of anyone who would know more about Maton guitars than yourself. Just hoping you can help me out mate.. Al (a fellow Aussie)

Dear Tommy,

First of all excuse me for my bad English but, as we say in France, we speak english as a spanih cow.....
Besides I want to say that it's the first time of my life that "i take a pen"( almost) to write something to someone like you.

After that, i'd like to tell you my feelings after seeing you for the first time yesterday in Vendôme, France.
I'm 33 years old and, today, no one can say that he could have ever touch me as you did yesterday.

Each song, each time, each moment was a come back to my childhood. I was seeing my own Dad playing guitar for me. It was so emotional.
Besides, you seems to want to share everywere your own love for the guitar. And It's so beautiful. I could say so human... In a world were selfishness is too much present, times of shares are precious...

So...
" Merci beaucoup Tommy". Merci....

I came with my guitar to ask you to sign it. Obviously i didn't manage to see you and shake your hand with all my gratitude. I'll try to do it the next time, when you'll visit your french fans!

Good bye Tommy!
See you soon, and take care of you.

Thank you for your beautiful gift. I'll never forget it 'cause your music is one of those that touches me in the bottom of my heart.

Now i'll try to practice a bit!

THANK YOU!!!!

Julien, a french fan!

An Aussie sitting at the Hotel Belludi in Padua Italy where there is a mezzanine floor with jazz being played.

Nobody was paying attention until one piece of music was being played....

My ears had pricked up at the start of the piece and people were looking for phones to "shazam" the track. I told them the artist, album and track before they could get it online.

Always great to hear "fields of gold".

Shame I didn't see you we're touring here as I would have bought tickets for my mates to see one of he world's best.

Hi Tommy - really looking forward to seeing you again at the Cambridge Folk Festival and attending your workshop.

Is it a "bring a guitar and try stuff" type of event, or do you prefer to be purely demonstrating things?

Either way I can't wait!

Best wishes
Andy Evans
