I have been playing since I was twelve. Started playing in bars around Dallas at fourteen. Im still playing but Im fourty-six now and I do it more for enjoyment and not so much for work. I have met, played with and seen a lot of pickers in my time, but never anyone quite like you. You are truly a guitar players guitar player. Im gonna do my best to catch one of your shows the next time you are any where around west texas. Until then I will be tuning into tommy tv. Thanks for sharing your self and your music with us, its good for the soul.

Hey Tommy! I only started playing the guitar a couple of years ago.. but I recently heard "Angelina'' at a friend's house. My dad used to play your songs over & over again when I was growing up...hearing 'Angelina' brought back so many memories!
I really want to learn the song & play it for dad on Father's Day. (At least some of it). I've just got the intro down..wish me luck!
Thank you for the music

Mr. Emmanuel, I was born in 56 and grew up with my guitar as well with my brother Herb ( who plays also, more pedal steel than guitar). I was introduced to your music awhile back. You truly lift my spriit when a day has gone awry. Your music touches peoples souls and uplifts them. I keep playing my guitar and singing and doing a few shows around Noblesville Indiana.
Thank you so very much for all you do. The web site is amazing and gives us a chance to travel places that most of us will never see, and to also see how your music touches people everywhere. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!
Great songs, great technique, keep up the great work- Donnie Clarkson

Mr. Emmanuel - I was searching for a video of Blue Moon to share with a friend (tomorrow happens to be a Bue Moon). I found you serendipitously - even though you probably weren't lost at all. Sadly, I have not been familiar with your work. I am familiar now and I find it breathtaking.
Brilliant - memorable - and akin to magic. Thank you for joining me.

Hi, I'm Owen and am looking to buy your signature EBG808TE guitar but do you use that guitar straight out of the factory and perform or do you modify it at all? I'm want to try and get the same sound you do for my performance and concerts? thanks very much

Tommy, I am so excited to get to see you in person at McAuley HS in Cincinnati this September. I am a huge fan of the instrument, and played in a HS Rock band, The University of Dayton Classical Guitar Ensemble and more recently for Christian Music groups.
Your enthusiasm and love of the music shines through all the songs and videos I've listened to, and I can't help but smile the entire time you are performing. I can see classical, country, finger style and even rock-n-roll riffs/pul-offs and harmonics tossed into your performances that are so fluid and effortless that it amazes me......
Keep up the great work, and see you in Cincinnati!
