Hi Tommy
I was at your show in Edinburgh and enjoyed every minute of it. I forgive you for ruining my hobby (I have been playing guitar for 50 years) and realise to use a golfing analogy you are Tiger Woods and I am a 18 handicap hacker!!!
Man I'm jealous.

Thanks again

Dave Crawford (age 62 1/2) :)

Hi Mr.Emmanuel,
My name is Gary, I am 20 and currently teaching myself guitar (along with a few other instruments). You have been a huge influence on my playing, and I have been trying to learn finger style. Sadly I am not practising and am not up to where I want to be in time for your show on the 25th at Dalhousie, but I am making it my goal to get up and pass where I want to be.
When I heard you were playing at Dalhousie I was quite excited that I was going to be able to see a legend, and that was what got me back to my instruments now. A chance to meet and greet with you would mean the world to me, just to be able to sit down with you for even a half hour to talk about my playing and how I can become so passionate and amazing at music like you.
Thank you for reading this,
Gary Irving

Saw you for the first time in Edinburgh on Thursday last (with Martin Taylor) at The Queens Hall. I cannot recall ever being at an music concert like it. Simply fantastic. You looked like you were having fun too. Come back to Edinburgh soon. Many thanks.

Tommy. Your performance at Queens in Edinburgh was tremendous - both powerful and moving. It was my 64th Birthday so one of your pieces was especially appropriate! 'Blood Brother' on your new guitar was simply awesome. Thank you so much. Derek Newton. Glasgow.

Please help me! If you could read this whole message i would really appreciate it. I know we are just ordinary people from Brisbane QLD with no heart wrenching story to tell but Im really hoping there is a way to get a personal meeting/lesson with Tommy for my 21 year old cousin Kirsten. I dont mind if it takes years to do so and I can save every week to afford it. She plays guitar at church and has this awesome love for the acoustic. She is saving up to buy a Maton guitar but it is a personal thing to choose a guitar so i cant get this for her. Every time she listens to Tommys artwork she can see a story. I cant explain it but it is so beautiful. She is often a quiet girl who asks for nothing and is always doing things for all of our family and it would be nice to be able to give her something to show how much we appreciate her. I know she would be so greatful for an experience to be able to learn and share with Tommy and his music. I understand there are probably thousands of people wanting such a thing but i hope and pray the opportunity may some day come available. Thank you for your time and i hope i can hear from someone someday soon.

Dear Tommy,
Thank you for the passion and energy you live life with. Thank you for visiting Salt Lake City, Utah a couple of months ago. I had the best time. It was such a pleasure for me to see you in person, it was a magical delight to listen to you.
I want to be a brilliant guitarist. I'm not sure how to get there from here. It looks like it is not years away but light years. I must find a way to traverse light years. How do I do that? I've started guitar late, I don't have a natural talent. What do have is an ability to work very hard, and a strong determination and discipline.
Thank you for being an inspiration in my life, I am greatful for that.
I love who you are. Keep well. Please visit Utah again soon. -Chelsea

Tommy, your fans in South Africa who are in awe of your technical prowess, humble recogntion of your role models ( whom you have surpassed), your incredible musicality and sheer wizardry spread the word. No-one should be denied at least a chance to see an entire band posing as a soloist! Thank you! Pieter Cronjé, Cape Town, South Africa

Hey Tommy,

This is Raam from India. I am learning guitar currently. I have picked it up only recently. I am 20 now. I picked it up after watching one of your concerts. I am so passionate about music. After getting to see you, I am just awed at your technical brilliancy over a wide variety of genres, and your musical abilities to convey the moods and you always strike a chord with a listener.

My inspirations range from Chet Atkins, you, Joe Robinson, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Michael Hedges, Andy Mckee, Don Ross, Eric Clapton, BB King, Preston Reed and few others. Out of those of my age group, joe and Sungha jung are such inspirations. Sungha though, is playing a lot of covers and he has a long way to go, being a prodigy, becoming a real musician.

But you, you are such an inspiration. Your playing and music moves me Tommy. I am just stuck in an engineering college, devoting time to guitar whenever possible. But, one day, I will share the stage with you. We will perform together. It's my dream to share the stage with you, Joe and Andy Mckee and it will become a reality.

If you reply, I ll be really happy. If you can guide me, and if you mentor me, like you did to Joe, I will be so grateful for life, towards you.
But, even if you don't, just know that I am so much in awe for you and that one day we will share the stage.

Regards,

Raam.

Keep rocking.

Hello Mr. Emmanuel. Please tell me what needs to be done for you to perform in India. There are numerous music lovers here who would love you to perform here.

I can make some arrangements from my end if things suit you. Please let me know whatever procedure is needed.
