Mr. Emmanuel,
I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for the incredible concert in Boise Idaho and for the meet and greet before. It was such an honor and pleasure to meet with you. I was overwhelmed with your kindness and patience. You truly have an amazing gift and talent that you have magnified, but I am most impressed with your kindness, honesty with the human experience and willingness to share your journey with others. You helped me through a difficult time in my life and inspired me to take up the guitar again and learn several of your songs which has brought a ton of joy to my family and I. One last thing, Thank you for signing my guitar. Short or being a Maton It is now a priceless gem to me and every time I pick it up to play I remember your kindness. Thanks again and may God continue to bless you with all the righteous desires of your heart. I plan to follow your example and pay your kindness forward to others.

Sincerely,
Travis Bennett

Hi Tommy,

Well, I finally got to meet you last night at your Greet and Meet in Seattle. Brought a friend who took my picture with you. Unfortunately, my Iphone is notorius for taking poor pictures. Therefore it's not good enough to post on Facebook. :(

Thanks so much for a wonderful concert. You are so generous to give your fans a full THREE HOUR concert!! Wow! I sat between two people who had never heard of you before last night, but went out of curiosity. I think they were clapping and shouting the loudest (my poor ears--LOL)!! Your performance was unbelieveable and we enjoyed seeing you team up with Martin Taylor. You are funny together. :)

Also it was nice to meet your girlfriend and so happy you have someone.

Will try to follow you if you're close enough to my home. Don't mind driving to see you in another state.

Take care,
Best,
Camille Yuasa

Tommy, I saw you in Seattle last night live for the first time. Amazing as expected. What you do can best be described as pure Joy. The audience smiles the whole night through. You smile the night through! I get a sense that you "hear" the music in your head and then your hands respond. While the genre and instrument are different, your emotional connection to the performance reminds of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Did you ever connect with him?

On a different topic, I do pro level sound for lots of acoustic festivals, blue grass bands and generally bands with acoustic guitars. i donate my time and equipment mostly because I love to do it. I would dearly love to know how your guitar is wired and processed. What is the signal chain? How do you get that amazing sound that makes your guitar sound pristine and big as a room? The information will help a lot of struggling players.

Thanks for the amazing evening and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi tommy
My name is ally, im 12 turning 13 in august and I love to play the guitar and sing. I went to your concert last night in seatle (even though I live in Vancouver) Me my sister from New Zealand and my mom just loved it(my faverite song was angelina) . I have alot of idols like my mom, my dad, and Erich Ritter who saves sharks, and you. I just hope that I can grow up to become even half the musician that you are today. You are my idol cause not only that your super good but you taught me that nothings impossible when it comes to your dreams, that you can meet your hero @ a young age, that you can have turbo fast fingers, and most importantly that you can grow up and live your dream. I would be so starstruck if you sent me an e-mail back cause once again you are my hero. But one thing I would really like is if i would be able to sen you a video of me singing, it woud be an honour just for you to hear me sing. thankyou so much for bringing the buetiful music to the world and making everyone so happy. You sir are amazing
sincerely your biggest fan,
Ally

Tommy,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for one of the most meaningful experiences my wife and I have ever had watching you perform pure magic for the crowd in Mesa last week. If I had lived the rest of my life without watching something short of a miracle (which is exactly what it appeared we were witnessing), I would have been the lesser for it. But alas, we did see you three rows back and a little stage right. Close enough to feel the rhythm of your foot taps and all the subtle nuances of a performance that was simply a triumph of mastery that seemingly rendered an inanimate object made of wood and steel to a living, breathing life form complete with heart thumps and all! I don’t know what else to say to your other than simply tell you from the bottom of my heart, thanks so much for inspiring so many good things in life and keeping the gold standard for that incredible craft of yours higher than what one would think possible. I’m sure no doubt that Chet is smiling down on you, grateful to such a dear friend like you Tommy, to keep the fires stoked and burning so incredibly bright. I’m 49 and have 32 year old dreams of Berkley in Boston as a percussionist student (a talent that always came so natural and felt so right). But as so many of us do, my path changed directions for whatever reason. I took guitar lessons at 6 years but stopped when I started playing the drums. I recently bought a Taylor 416CE and have been playing it an hour or two after work each day. Your words of encouragement meant so much to me the other night. It felt like you were talking to me when you were discussing playing Dixie and the Battle Hymn at the same time and the pattern recognition that develops after enough time. You have helped rekindle that fire of inspiration and dream that died so long ago and for that, I can never thank you enough. Angie and I look forward to seeing you in person again next year or hopefully sooner.

Thanks again, God bless and until next time!

Jeff

Tommy I loved your show in Bend recently. Also thank you for the surprise of Martin and your show was fantastic. I love the song The trails!! So my only two recommendations are to do an album with Native Americans! Also as I'm listening to you while studying I thought of one of my favorite Delta Blues guy Catfish Keith! I could see the two of you having a wonderful jam session together!!! Thanks again and all the best. (I dont have a website, however am a retired Marine and had to put in something or couldn't send)

Dear Tommy,
I think your life story would be fascinating and inspirational to young and old alike, whether they be musicians or just listeners.
I would like the chance to write your biography,if you are agreeable .The more i learn about you and your life experiences the more I am convinced that a book about you might spur those with the gift ,to follow their heart and weather the storm in whatever form it breaks upon them.
If you would like to pursue this please contact me,either by email or by cell phone at 506 647 1915.I am not a crazy, nor a sycophant,I just believe in the ability of one man's story to light many fires
yours truly,
Dr Andrew Clark
