I ordered my tickets for next Feb's concert in SF, it'll be 6 years in a row. I have a cousin in Wuerzburg who is a great guitarist himself, and a big fan of your's Tommy, who missed you the last time you played in Munich. He's there again on November 17th and I told Klaus if I had to I was going to drive him to Munich so he can see you!

Thank you, Thank you,Thank you! My 83 year old dad is in the hospital right now and has Alzheimer's. He was getting very agitated last night and I put my earbuds on him with your music. It calmed him down, and he smiled and said" I just heard Mona Lisa". I am flying home tomorrow and will see you in Seattle on Saturday. A big "hug" for making this emergency a little bit easier to deal with.

Hi. A friend of me are in love of your music, technic, and style. And he make me discover that, and I fall in love too. The problem is, we are Swiss peoples and I just want to know if you have some shows programmed in Europe, or more close, directly in Switzerland... ???
Sorry for my english.

Hi Tommy! My wife and I attended your show at the Kimo Theater in Albuquerque, NM on Sunday, June 24th. (I was the guy who gave you a fist bump at the end of your performance. Sorry... couldn't resist. Couldn't get a photo, but that made up for it!) It was one of the best concert performances I've ever attended. Thank you so much. Glenda and I had a wonderful evening, and, sitting about six and half feet from you, made it seem like sitting in the living room with an old friend... ok, one who is an extraordinary talent... but homey just the same. Best wishes to you and your family, and continued success and happiness. Michael Layne.

Hello, Tommy!! My name is Tomoki. I am from Japan. My girlfriend went to one of your shows at the guitar festival in Rouyn Nranda last month. I just got a package from her and I got your autograph with my name on it (Tomoki-san). Thank you! I just heard you are coming to Japan this fall. I hope i can see your performance here finally! You have been always inspiring me with your music and your guitar play. I really hope to see you in October and hope to jam with you someday somewhere. The best of luck
sincerely,
Tomoki

You. Are. Incredible. Every time I watch one of your videos, I can't seem to stop. Then I realize I've been watching for 45 minutes. My son's name is Ames Emmanuel. He's two. He has better rhythm than most adults, so anytime there is music on, he gravitates toward it. We were watching some of your songs this evening. I looked at him and said, "do you know what his name is?" He said, "yes. nooooo." I told him and his face lit up. Now he will not stop asking to watch the "toowah song." Toddler translation, "guitar song."

And I forgot.........We saw you in Boulder at the "HOT" Boulder High School 2 years ago.......where I didn't think it was possible for you to get any better, but did you???? I almost thought so!
Astounded by your music yet again. I was in Boulder taking care of my 56 year old sister who loved you as well, and I went to the concert while living and taking care of her for 8 months. She has since passed on, but at her funeral we played Eva Cassidy's vocal rendition of Some Where Over the Rainbow, so I was so pleased to hear your playing of the same song the other night. Absolutely beautiful (as they all are) Thank you........Cathy

Mr. Emmanuel-
Saw you this past Sunday in Albuquerque, New Mexico--first time but hopefully not the last. Your playing is beautiful and wonderful.
You played and sang "I still can't say goodbye." I had never heard it before, but it was more special because my 12 year old was with me for the show. It made me think--will these be the words that my children say about me? Thank you for sharing your gift with the whole wide world

Hey there Mr. Emmanuel.
This is really a question tagged onto a comment, so my apologies for that if that's not welcome here, but I thought that there was no real harm in asking.
I recently had the privilege of seeing you at your show in Denver, and ever since I've been playing around with a thumbpick and Paul Hedman's 'Note for Note' trying to emulate some of what I saw. However, I'd only just got started when I saw a video of you speaking your mind about sheetmusic and tabulature, so I thought I'd ask - if I want to become as accomplished a guitarist as you, how can I pick up pieces by ear? Do I simply need to keep at it, or is starting off simple and progressing from there better? I suppose the real question is do you have any advice on training the ear to this point that you have talked about previously?
I think I'm more than willing to do whatever you may suggest. In anycase, thanks for the inspiring show and the autograph I managed to get from you. Truly a great night for me. Thanks again for both the show, and any response you may have, and I'll be sure to see you next time I'm in an area you perform at.
