Hiya Tommy!
Really enjoyed meeting you back in February in Tampa. Thoroughly enjoyed the show, and hearing some great thumb-style Travis tunes like nine pound hammer and Gameshow rag was great. I was right at your feet in the front row, and I could hear you stomping out the beat. I have The Mystery CD in my truck, and my five year old son just loves to hear the "fast songs" Cantina and Gameshow. Hope you come round again soon, I'll have to bring the whole family with me next time.
Cheers,
S. Hemphill

Tommy,
Saw your show at the Carpenter Center, Richmond, VA (09 Jun 12). You were amazing. I guess that fifty years of practice has paid off.
I imagine your daughter Amanda and her fiance are married by now. As I have three daughters...and a son, I wish them the very best.

My son is 10 and loves to play his guitar, are there any jobs he could help with when you come to Auckland so he could see you play? He busks at the local Plaza with success

Hello, First of all I would just like to say I think you are just amazing! You are such an inspiration to me as a young and enthusiastic Acoustic Guitarist. I seen you last December in Belfast and I though you were just fantastic! I was wondering that when you come to Belfast next year could you play some of your well known classics such as - Classical Gas, Guitar Boogie or Amazing Grace? I would really appreciate if you could as they are my favourites

Just got tickets for your show in Ridgefield, CT in September. This is about 15 mins. from my home which is great. Last time I saw you at BB Kings which was great but a little bit of a trip (well worth it!). Can't wait to see you and was hoping you might sign my guitar while you are there. I would love to meet you and am hoping we could make this happen. Regardless, I am very much looking forward to seeing you again. Here's hoping you and yours are healthy and happy and continue to stay that way.
Yours very truly,
Tom Mayer

Hi Tommy -
We saw you perform in Boulder, Colorado, a couple of years back. You may recall that show because the AC was out in the auditorium, but it did not slow you down a bit. We were familiar with your work but when we saw you perform the live, it exceeded our wildest imagination. We were so stunned by what we saw in Boulder we traveled to Kansas City to see you a second time. We then saw you had a performance scheduled in Tulsa so we drove out to see you and your brother and his band there. We were curious to see how you could merge all those players into one body of work. You guys put together a spectacular production. We are looking forward to seeing you here in Denver again tonight.
Your schedule is astonishing. I don't know how you keep the energy level so high.
All the best to you, Gina, Ed, and everyone that works so hard to make your shows possible.
Sincerely,
Ed and Vickie Warnick,
Aurora (Denver), Colorado

Saw Tommy tonight at the American Indian Services fundraiser in Lehi, Utah. Can't say enough about how brilliant a performer he is -- and just a great person as well. I think the highlight of the evening was "The Trails," which Tommy wrote about the struggles and hardships endured by Native Americans. A terrific song by a truly gifted artist. We are so blessed to be able enjoy this man's talent. There's no patent pending for Tommy Emmanuel; he is an original, a one-of-a-kind.

Tommy,
On the way to one of your master classes I noticed that one of yur tunes had a very singable melody. So I wrote lyrics to your tune "AMY". I was too scared to show it to you that night. I'll try to send it to you.
When I heard you were going to be in Albuquerque just had to record it. My 2 nieces used to play together in the house next store. to me their high pitched laughs sounded like chimes. I hope the lyrics and harmonics remind you of your daughter. -Vinnie Kelley Santa Fe NM. USA

Hello there, friend.
I just wanted to say more or less as everybody else probably says when writing to you; that your music is absolutely unbelievable. It gives me joy, a real high - it also gives med hope that if I can manage to do 1/100th of what you can do with your guitar - I will still be one hell of a guitar player! When I try to explain your music, or rather how you play, I usually say that you do not play the guitar - you are a guitar, - you just happen to have feet and arms. Or maybe you and the guitar are the musical equivalent of the horse and man, having become a kentaur? Guit Sapiens? One could have a lot of fun with that!
My most pleasing experience was meeting you in a master class in Oslo, where we were given a little glimpse of the person Tommy. A person that seemed absolutely brimming with love for life itself. Of course you must have your days like the next person, but you seemed full of fun, wisdom, empathy and so down to earth too. The good guy next door, despite your fame.
I wish you all the best in life Tommy - thanks for enriching my life.
