I saw you perform in St. Petersburg, Florida I believe last year. To be quite honest with you I had not heard of you until my husband showed me some YouTube videos of you playing. He bought tickets for your performance as soon as he found out about it and I just happened to tell my friend about going to see you and mentioned your name. She got back with me before we went to your show and said her husband knew who you were and had just taken one of your albums out recently and was talking about you to her~ she said what a small world it is. His comment at the time was, he's the greatest guitar player who ever played...But then her husband is Jim Mason and is a fairly unknown/well known musician/arranger/composer back in the day of Peter Paul and Mary and is friends with Paul, so he would know you far better than I would. The point is, that I was not sure what to expect of your performance or your show. I was not sure if I was even going to like it and I was not sure that one man playing the guitar was going to be worth the two or three hours I was to be there, I almost, but not quite, thought of offering my tickets to my friend's husband, but decided, no, I want to see the greatest guitar player who ever played...well, my heart would have regretted giving that ticket away. I wished your show would go on and on. I loved, loved, and considerably loved everything you did and everything you played. You were so entertaining that the two plus hours just flew by, I watched in fascination the superb showmanship you have and just the warm and inviting manner you exuded. All I can say is I'm thankful you came to America and decided to live here, so that I can once again experience one of the "greatest guitar players to have every played" and I thank God you are on iTunes so I can actually buy your inspired music and look forward to more of the same. God bless and keep you and thank you for letting me experience something magical that night.

Hi Tommy,
I notice you are scheduled to be playing at the Mc Donald Theater in Eugene Oregon June 27 and was wondering if there was also a workshop (formal or informal) scheduled for earlier that day. I'm excited about finally getting to attend a concert and a workshop would be icing on the cake. Thanks for any info.

Hi Tommy
Matt Purcell here. I grew up watching you live and accoustic in Tamworth. I actually played with Clel Adams and Laurie Mincent and got a lot of support from Paul Wookey and the boys from loose goose back in the 90's. Your brother Phil plays at the pub in Boreen Point whenever he is in town.... I would really love it if you would consider an accoustic gig at the Majestic Theatre in Pomona... I would guarantee a packed house and would give you free brekky, lunch, dinner at bistro c in Noosa
Heads while your in town.
Tommy Emmanuel on accoustic is as close as anyone can get to pure spirit.
Thanks for your influence

Thank you Tommy for give me such breathing space,
Life is a game, we are here for eternity, you know that...
It's divine and depressing at the same time.
You're the one.
I play guitar in your fashion, I hope someday make something with this faculty that nobody knows about me.
God Bless You
Rémi
