Hi Tommy,
I've been a fan of yours for a year or so and recently bought a
steel stringed Ovation and a nylon stringed Morales due to
your inspiration. Seeing you perform in person is on my "bucket
list". Do you plan to perform somewhere in the Midwest in the
near future? I live in Omaha, Nebraska and we have a wonderful
venue called "The Holland Center". Maybe someday we'll meet,
but if we don't, I feel blessed to have experienced your gift of
music on "You Tube"!
You're admirer,
Gary

My husband and I got to see your concert last night in Redondo Beach. It is such a treat to go to your concert. We go to one of your concerts once a year and since having little ones, it's kind of our only date night. It is really special. You have a beautiful talent and we are so thankful that you share it. I just wanted to let you know that you are greatly appreciated.

Met Tommy last night at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center with my wife Peggy at meet and greet and gave him his certificate since I had "Tommy Emmanuel, CGP" burned onto a chipset on Curiosity, our Mars Science Lab that is just starting to drill for signs of life at Gale Crater on Mars. Tommy is the first and only finger-picker on Mars. He can share that when offering his, "Greetings Earthlings" intro. Just following up to offer a tour of JPL if he is near Pasadena, CA again. I also support the Deep Space Network so if he is ever near Canberra, Australia, I can probably arrange something. I offered Tommy and idea from Voyager which is about to leave our Solar System: record something that gets sent to space in case it is ever found that communicates our humanity. Voyager has Bach, Chuck Berry (Johnny B. Good) and a few others. The offer to Tommy was to identify or record a song to go out on the next Deep Space Mission. Other thought is to come play at JPL and maybe drive a rover. I gave his assistant my card and you have my e-mail. I offered the thought that I see the joy Tommy plays with and it was the same thing I saw when I first saw my wife -- transcendent joy that came from knowing who you were, what you were meant to do and who accepted you above all others. Tommy radiates that. Hopefully an opportunity to collaborate will occur. Respectfully, Matt

Hello Tommy (or whoever answers these emails :),
Let me start by saying you are a world class talent, a class act, and a complete inspiration to me and musicians everywhere. I have been to two of your shows now, and have had an incredible experience each time. Thank you for sharing your gift and hard work with the world.
I was wondering if there is any way you could provide me with the set list from your 1/26/13 show in Salt Lake City. You played a few new songs I haven’t heard before, and I would love to know the names so I can look out for them (and, of course, re-watch them on youtube). I would much appreciate this!
Thanks again, for everything.
(One of) your biggest fan(s),
Jeremy

Hello Tommy
Thanks for the great performance last night in Redondo Beach - Your music always lifts my spirits! Thanks for the graciousness that gave me while signing my guitar strap. FYI - I'm on the waiting list for your class at Fur Peace Ranch - I was very pleased when they accepted my application and auditon video. A highlight in my Guitar Life! Santa Barbara Joe

Tommy,
I can't express how much I enjoyed your concert at Van Duzer Theatre in Arcata, CA last Thursday night. From your opening number I could not stop my foot, my hands or some other part of my body from joining in on the festival of fantastic frets.
I had heard the last part of one song you did for a PBS special a while back and thought, this is a man I must see. My son attends Humboldt State University and I asked him to pick up some tickets for the family. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to experience your musicianship, your charm, your vitality and your love of humanity. I was touched when you began to sing "What the World Needs Now" and invited the audience to join you. Exposing your family life as a child and now is difficult to do with close friends, your openness with all of your fans was humbling and endearing. I thank God you were given that first guitar. The world would be incomplete without you. It is always wonderful to see someone who is sooo good at something truly enjoy what they are doing. I look forward to your next concert in the Southern Oregon area. Thank you!

Dear Tommy,
My husband Steve and I are co-founders together with some Aussie and New Zealand friends, of an initiative to express kindness towards the people of TURKEY in 2015. This has been on our hearts since 2007, and we have just begun a focussed effort. It is called the Gallipoli2015 initiative.
THE GALLIPOLI2015 INITIATIVE
The year 2015 commemorates 100 years since the Battle of Gallipoli. The bond formed between Turks and ANZACS while they fought each other during that battle is recorded in history and acknowledged by the world. The invitation has been made at Government level, for Australians to celebrate the bond in Turkey during 2015. The Foreign Ministries of both countries have agreed that 2015 will be “The Year of Australia in Turkey and The Year of Turkey in Australia”. (http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-news-world/2015-year-of-turkey-in-australia-20120427-1xohx.html).
2015 will be a year of open doors in Turkey, a window of opportunity. Let us be awake to the potential of this gift from God to this amazing country’s people!
During 2015 (and the years preceding), Gallipoli2015 will lead and facilitate small and major public events, prayer, and friendship building in Turkey.
Gallipoli2015 is looking for written endorsements of the initiative. The endorsements will assist in mobilizing people in Australia towards participation, and aid recognition in Turkey. They will be included on a website currently being produced. Below, please find two examples of written endorsements, to assist you.
Endorsements
“I warmly endorse this visionary initiative that uses a significant anniversary as an opportunity for Christians throughout Aotearoa / New Zealand to reach out in prayer and peace to the people of Turkey.”
Richard Ellena - Anglican Bishop of Nelson, New Zealand
“Being in Turkey during 2015 has been on our faith horizon for some years! Remembering Gallipoli is critical to us as a people and Turkey is intriguing in its place in the biblical record of our faith. I applaud, support and endorse your Initiative.”
Max Palmer – Director, Life Resources (N.Z.) and Life Church International
I love your music Tommy! (But then, is there anyone on earth who wouldn't?!)
We have a dream for you to join the celebrations in Turkey in 2015! Also, we would so love you to endorse this initiative.
May God bless,
Helen Blake

Tom,
I am completely captivated by your music. At the risk of sounding corny, I imagine that your head, heart and hands are touched by an angel. I hope I get a chance to see you live if you ever come to the Pacific Northwest.
Sincerely,
Kathy

Tommy,
Two years ago my wife and I saw you perform twice, once at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco and once at the Napa Opera House. We thought for sure we would never see a finer guitar player. We were wrong. On Saturday we saw you perform at the Napa Opera House again and you have gotten even better. Nobody would have believed that was possible.
The inexpensive cost for fourth row tickets is a sure sign that you are a real gentleman.
