My brother has played guitar since he was in his early teens and is now 61. He plays every day. It is his passion. You are his hero. He went to see you in Cleveland last Friday and just called me when he got home today. It seems he spoke to you at the Hall of Fame (checkout area) and had a picture taken with you. He was so excited to share this with me. We both had tears on the phone. Just wanted you to know what an inspiration you have been and will continue to be to him. You are an amazing guitar player - God bless!!

REPLY: Dates for Canada in 2015 are being announced soon! Sign up for the mailing list to find out first: www.tommyemmanuel.com/tours/
Seen you on PBS last night for the FIRST TIME ! Although I am the same age and have been playing the same length of time, seeing you makes me realize how poorly I really play. ha-ha! Lots of people think I'm good but you are truly incredible and make it look so easy. Being a player I know how much practice and playing is required to achieve growth. You are the pinnacle of ability and I sincerely envy you my friend. Play your heart out for the world and enjoy life to the max. Count me as a definite fan and admirer. When are you next in Canada?

I never write in people's guestbooks because I know that it probably won't be seen. I could write a long letter, but I'll to sum it up like this:
- from 15:37 and on in this clip made total sense for me. It rings true in all of us and the way you and your wife has described the impact of music is so beautiful.
I have never been so close to crying from watching a YouTube-clip.
Thank you, Tommy, and all musicians around the world.

REPLY: California tourdates are on the schedule for Jan 2015! www.tommyemmanuel.com/tours/
Tommy, Consider coming to Santa Barbara, CA. I see that your schedule is jammed but when your travels bring you to southern California you'd find an appreciative audience and some great venues to perform at. I'd be glad to forward your tour manager the location contacts if that's a help. Like your work and energy. Best regards from a fellow guitarist, Roy

You put on an amazing show last night at the Ford Performing Arts Center in Detroit. My 16 yr. old son (who is an accomplished violinist) has seen every youtube video ever posted of you. He and I both were blown away by your performance! We never knew sounds like that could come out of a guitar. We were absolutely spellbound. You are truly a magician in music and entertainment! BRAVO!
My only regret is that the fact that it was 9-11 was never mentioned. My husband and I are both Delta Airline pilots based in Detroit. I personally knew the co-pilot of American 77 which crashed into the Pentagon. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
With the world as unsettled as it is today, we cherish our freedoms and honor those who have and continue to protect that. We did so enjoy your a cappella song about cherishing today. Please, next year, remember to mention those heroes on 9-11.
Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

I had the privilege of witnessing your amazing talent lastnight at the Adler Theater in Davenport. I've been playing for 48 years. You are a huge inspiration. You prove that this wonderful instrument has few limits. You remind me of another very inventive guitarist. Jeff Beck. Thank you for a very entertaining concert. We love you.
