Mr. Emmanuel,
Had the distinct pleasure of seeing you perform at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks, Nevada a week ago yesterday (Thursday night). I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful show you put on. I was seated with 3 professional musicians, all of whom were blown away by your show. They sang your praises the following night at a benefit concert they did for a local school.
Once again, I was thrilled to have finally seen you perform live, and am hopeful you will make a return trip to Northern Nevada in the coming months and years.
Respectfully,
Chris Cook

Tommy,
Do you often break a string during a live performance, if so how do you carry on?
Your playing is exemplary!

Dear Tommy,
My husband and I attended your concert last night in Arcata. It was the second time we've seen you and the show was great. Not only are you an incredible musician and performer, your goodness shines through. It is a privilege to hear you play and spend time with such a kind and genuine person.
One thing---please check on the sound level. We needed to wear earplugs as it was so loud. I'm about your age, and am sensitive about losing my hearing---music that loud could do damage. As a musician you know how precious our hearing is. I want to be listening to and appreciating good music for many years to come.
Thanks for your music and artistry. You bring many people great joy.
Sincerely,
Kathrin Burleson

Hello Mr Emmanuel,
Thank for visiting Portland! My family, friends, and I really enjoyed the concert. I do have one question: you played a song that you said would be on your next album, and I was wondering, what was the name of that song? Forgive my interpretation if its incorrect, but the sound of the song was sort of dark, I think it had heavy, repetitive bass notes and made me think of open desert or some stark landscape. To me, it was one of the high points of the concert. Too general? Am I being unclear? I have no problem waiting for the next album to find out, but I am curious about the song. Thanks for the concert and the time you take to read messages. Cheers!

Hi Tommy,
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your gift and passion for the guitar. I've been playing since 13 years of age, and after all these years I consider myself to still be in the first or second grade skill wise. However, after watching numerous youtube videos of your concerts, interviews and workshops, at 57 years of age, I am totally re-inspired to learn fingerstyle and take it to the next level.
FYI - I bought two tickets(one for myself and one for my uncle) to see you perform in San Francisco next Friday, but the military flights don't fly there that often during the winter months. So, unfortunately, I had to get a refund...
Will you'll be playing in St. Louis, Missouri this year? If so, you can bet that I'll be in there!
Take care and again thank you for sharing so freely.

Mr. Emmanuel, you are the greatest musician I have ever heard. Just started learning Angelina a few weeks ago and I love it. Keep writing these great songs. I would love to see you live. I listen to your CD everyday when I go to work and in my home. I love your work! You are truly an inspiration to me. I started out about 13 years ago playing rock and roll but I have been converted over the the classical style of playing. You make me love to play even more than ever. Thank you.
