G'day Tommy-
I saw you at the Araluen in '89 (when I was stationed at the 'Spice Bise' outside of the Alice) and quite frankly have never been the same, ya bugga. You have quite frankly gotten me (and a number of my family and patients) through oome pretty tight spots over the years. (Your TedTalk probably kept me from getting fired, yesterday - thanks... I think.)

Fast forwarding, I believe my massage therapist wife, Tammi, gave you a brief rhomboid massage (!) in a kitchen during the ice cream portion of a TommyFest about 6 or 7 years ago...

We have been blessed to see you a number of times at the Birchmere in Virginia, but have finally escaped from the DC area and moved to the next best place in the world (after Oz) - Montana.

We have opened a wellnes center in Helena, where we are getting people (especially wounded veterans) re-connected with nature, music, and spirit - the world is ready to start getting healthy and less toxic. I sense you are in touch with that. Your music is helping us heal people. Thanks for that. Thank you very, very much for all you do, large and small.

If you ever want to visit Montana and relax, get a massage, fish and/or play music, let me know and we can set that up. We have some beautiful little venues - including an amphitheater on our 20 acres in the Elkhorn mountains - in amongst the elk and mountain lions (ever had that offer before?) And...I'm not only a radiologist and lousy guitar player*, I'm also a Montana fly fishing guide...you will be amazed at our stretch of the Missouri River.

Love you, man! Thanks again.

* PS - I guide for fish better than I play - when you heard me play "I Will" at that workshop, you suggested semi-tactfully that I go back to playing banjo! HaHa!

PPS - I'm lousy at banjo, too ;-)

Tommy: I just watched "My life as a one man band" I was moved to tears . I am a subscriber and obviously an ardent fan. I love Tommy the guitarist but I love Tommy the human being more. I am 61 yrs. old and I compose instrumental guitar music. [see my website] I consider myself to be a reasonably good amateur guitarist but my strongest skill is creative composing. I am not that young so my "window" is not huge. I fully realize that you are a very busy person but if you could reply it would mean more than you could possibly imagine to me. Any advice or feedback on my compositions and/or playing please. Like you, I am self taught and don't write music. The most common response to my music is " it's different and interesting" If I went to sleep and had a dream, Tommy Emmanuel would be playing/recording one of my songs. Although I'm not the King of Thailand. Much love and respect, Lou

Hi, Poland here :)
I have two little questions for you, besides that I always wanted to say how I admire you...
First of all, I would just love to see you in concert here in Poland. Please consider it someday in one of your tours, I'm surely not the only one :)
And the second thing, which I already posted below one of your YT videos. There is one beautiful piece of acoustic music, the Tristram theme from the very first Diablo game. If you would at least consider playing it in one of your acoustic cover videos, my life would be (almost) complete ;)
Sorry for any mistakes, it's not my native :(

Stay well, stay acoustic! Best regards!
Krzysiek

Dear Tommy Emmanuel

My name is Jaimey I am sixteen Years old and I live in the Netherlands. I am actually a pianist but I started playing the guitar a few months back. And i really like the songs you play my favorite song is windy and warm. I can play the basic chords like F and C but I don't follow guitar lessons, do you have any advise of how to practice guitar playing?

Thanks for your attention and time

Jaimey

Hello sir,

I am from India and i am a huge fan of your's. You are my biggest inspiration. I have been trying to play the guitar in your styles, and its been so much fun. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing such golden musical experience into my life.

I have a question. Why do most of your guitars have the paint worn off ? Is it done on propose ?

I am looking forward to more of your music.!!

Thank you,
waiting for your reply..
