Hi Tommy,

After attending the inaugural TE Guitar Camp at Collaroy last week I thought I’d let the dust settle before dropping you a note. It was a wonderful experience, a microcosm of what the world should be like and how people should treat and respect each other. (Acoustic) Guitars players are very special people. My sincere thanks go to youself, Michael and Steve for your patience and understanding and for passing on your knowledge and expertise about all things Guitar.

An unexpected and very pleasant surprise was some casual chats I had with Clara. Clara is wonderful to talk to and as it turns out is no slouch on the Guitar either and passed on some very valuable tips that I can use to improve my own playing and practise routines.

I am inspired to work hard to impress you at the next Guitar Camp at Collaroy and hopefully next time if I get a one on one with you, you will say, that’s pretty good…keep it up.

Cheers, GeoffB...

Thank you so much Tommy, for signing my magazine at the Surflight Theater this summer. I've seen you in concert twice now and I'd listen to you all day every day if I could! I can't wait to see you on tour again, your shows are the best!! Happy and safe travels to you and a very happy Holiday to you as well.

I just purchased tickets for your May 15 show in Vancouver, BC. I was disappointed to miss your last show in Seattle and am very much looking forward to your Vancouver visit. Thank you for coming back to the Pacific Northwest so soon!!

I began playing guitar at 50, two years ago. I discovered you on youtube, which continues to be motivating. Looking forward to May 15!!

Hi Tommy. I saw you at the Calvin Theater in Northampton, MA (USA) in September of 2012. Terrific show! I was absolutely mesmerized and inspired. Just wondering if you have any plans to head back to the New England area in the future. I sure would love to catch another show. Stay well. Charlie

Dear Tommy,
WOW…Thank you for the guitar camp!
It was a very special place on so many levels, and I have come away with many insights from Michael, Steve and you.
There are no words to describe the sense of gratitude for what you have inspired in me. I adore the fact that all three of you gave every ounce of yourselves in everything you did. You allowed 130 strangers into your lives and you gave us more than a performance, you allowed us to live your experiences, highs, lows, setbacks and achievements. You allowed us to see you, and you allowed us to be us, no matter how we played or sang, or whether we were beginners or accomplished guitarists.
Since I was 12 I have followed your career, from when I first saw you on Simon Townsends Wonder world one afternoon in the very early 1980’s after school.
Some years ago after suffering a stroke and cerebral haemorrhage I promised I would return to playing guitar after a long absence. It was the memory of a twelve year old boy that made me smile and inspired me to work hard, the memory of seeing an energetic guitarist in a blue shirt playing Lady Madonna like a band…all by himself.
Your energy is tireless, you presence inspiring and your love of music and dedication simply powerful. Many Greats live on through the story you tell every moment of your life in your music be it on stage, at a master class, in a studio or simply walking down the street.
Thank you for also allowing us to indulge in the presence of the amazing people you have around you, in your lovely wife Clara, your manager Gina and many others behind the scenes.
I have come away and reflected deeply on the days at the camp and some of the special moments in which you touched me deeply through your messages resonating with me and I believe that I will be a better father, husband, guitarist and son for finally believing that the shitty committee needs to stay well out of my life.
May God bless you Tommy, Clara, Gina and all your crew in your travels, and may you continue to achieve all that your heart desires.
I will always be in your audience (front row forever I hope), I will attend any event you put on in Australia and I will work even harder than ever before on attaining my goals as a guitarist.
Until next time…with much love,

Dear Mr. Emmanuel,

I am writing in hopes that you access this message personally. My brother, Ben Perea, is one of your greatest fans! He continually sends me links to your You Tube videos, the latest being your Beatles Medley from China. You are an amazing artist and according to my brother "your style and talent is beyond belief!" My brother Ben also plays guitar extremely well, if I do say so myself! The guitar of his choice is a Pimentel, made especially to his specifications, by the Pimentel guitar Artisans from Albuquerque. He was also selected to personally play the first and only Pimentel guitar, in concert, before it was submitted to the Smithsonian Institute. Ben has also been awaded the honor of being selected as the number one banjo player in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Oklahoma. He attends your concerts at nearly every venue across the United States, the last being in Las Vegas Nevada. My main goal in this is to let you know that he is a true fan of your work and admires you greatly!

Thank you for your time,

Linda Perea-Sedillo
Albuquerque, New Mexico
