Dear Tommy,

Great playing as always! If you have any spare time (unlikely) I have composed some original gypsy jazz tunes that I would love you to listen to. If you were to perform them you would undoubtedly do them more justice than I have and it would go a long way to popularising them.

Tommy
Can I call you tommy ?
You can call me scott... or whatever.

About 8 yrs ago some one told me to check out a cover of Classical Gas by Eric Clapton. I never made it there. I found your cover version first and have been a fan ever since.
So looking forward to seeing you in Victoria BC

Hi Tommy,

My name is Dirk ('seven brothers, seven brides') from Holland. We've met a few times. I have a question: Why is 'Only' the only album with just you and a guitar? All other albums are sung on, or there is a quest musician. When wille there be another album with just you and the guitar? I find it so strange that you don't do that nomore!
Good luck, best regards
Dirk

Hi Tommy my name is Ian Acredolo. You don't remember me but we met outside of the Napa Valley Oprah House in early 2013 i believe. I actually had planned on trying to meet you before the show, but didn't get the opportunity, and having it been the second concert of yours i had gone to attempting to meet you, my girlfriend encouraged me to stay after the show late in hopes of catching you on the way out. Your show was incredible that night, i have only cried at two concerts in my life, and both are yours. I am a guitarist songwriter and singer myself and look to you as an idle and musical mentor. Anyway after about an hour of sitting in the cold, and being sad for missing the chance to meet you once again, Laura and i were getting ready to leave when i looked inside the back doorway to see three guitar cases lying on the floor, and then within seconds i saw you appear and start to walk towards my direction. I remember not knowing to do with myself i was so excited! Sorry for the fangirl sound of this message but what can i say. You walked outside with a couple people helping you carry your gear, there Laura and i introduced ourselves to you, (she is a short chinese girl with colored hair, i think you may have even said something like "I should get my hair to look like that". Anyway i took it as such a sign to have had the chance to meet you after that night, after waiting as long as we did with very little hope. I just wanted to share that with you. And to say from the bottom of my heart that i appreciate so deeply the way you play, perform, and write your music. No one does it quite like you, and i hope to shake your hand again and one day sit down and play a tune or two with you. I hope your touring is well, and that you and your family are safe. Until we talk again, thank you for all that you do Mr. Tommy.
All the best, Ian Acredolo

Hello, I am Karina, :)
I saw you one day out of the blue on youtube and right then and there I knew I had to see you, it was my new dream. I begged my dad to take me to a concert so I could go see you and finally on my birthday, December 26 my parents gave me the tickets to go see you, I just want to say that you are amazing. God works through you :) Visalia CA. Fox theater is where I saw you at I was running to get into my seat, and after I did not want to leave, but I did, and had a smile on my face the rest of the way home.
THANK YOU, you have great talent :)

Hi Tommy,

I do hope you will be able to return to Ponte Vedre, Florida for another concert. My grandson and I enjoyed your recent one and now my son-in-law wants to come. LOL

The little concert hall was very nice but unfortunately, the chairs were connected, too small and uncomfortable. We had several large people sitting with us on the front row and poor Jared was squeezed to death. Hard to keep a big 16 yr. old still in that case. LOL However, he enjoyed every single minute--so did I.
Best wishes,
Gaye Sullivan

G'Day Tommy,

just stepped by for saying thank you!

I was at your gig in Stuttgart a few weeks ago, sitting right there, first row on the right side of stage. And I have to say, I'd to go through some very rough times in the last months and even was doubting if I could go to that concert at this evening. But I'm glad I did and I just wanted to say thank you for your great show, bringing back in the smiles for a while and especially thank you for your handshake at the end of the show - made a really lasting moment and I went on days after it, remembering that moment.

So, thank you for your music, your soul that you put into it and the gifts you made that evening. Really wanted to let ya' know this.

Greetings from Germany
Chris

PPS: Duh! Just found you're coming to Missoula in July - tickets now in hand. If you have an extra day, Tammi and I would like to show you around and give you a place to flop... just let us know.

G'day Tommy-
I saw you at the Araluen in '89 (when I was stationed at the 'Spice Bise' outside of the Alice) and quite frankly have never been the same, ya bugga. You have quite frankly gotten me (and a number of my family and patients) through oome pretty tight spots over the years. (Your TedTalk probably kept me from getting fired, yesterday - thanks... I think.)

Fast forwarding, I believe my massage therapist wife, Tammi, gave you a brief rhomboid massage (!) in a kitchen during the ice cream portion of a TommyFest about 6 or 7 years ago...

We have been blessed to see you a number of times at the Birchmere in Virginia, but have finally escaped from the DC area and moved to the next best place in the world (after Oz) - Montana.

We have opened a wellnes center in Helena, where we are getting people (especially wounded veterans) re-connected with nature, music, and spirit - the world is ready to start getting healthy and less toxic. I sense you are in touch with that. Your music is helping us heal people. Thanks for that. Thank you very, very much for all you do, large and small.

If you ever want to visit Montana and relax, get a massage, fish and/or play music, let me know and we can set that up. We have some beautiful little venues - including an amphitheater on our 20 acres in the Elkhorn mountains - in amongst the elk and mountain lions (ever had that offer before?) And...I'm not only a radiologist and lousy guitar player*, I'm also a Montana fly fishing guide...you will be amazed at our stretch of the Missouri River.

Love you, man! Thanks again.

* PS - I guide for fish better than I play - when you heard me play "I Will" at that workshop, you suggested semi-tactfully that I go back to playing banjo! HaHa!

PPS - I'm lousy at banjo, too ;-)
