Greetings from the not so sunny south east town of seaford in sussex Tommy! I believe i owe you a thank you in all honesty, i was feeling like i was getting no where with guitar about a year ago, to the point where i almost felt like giving up because nothing that i could play would excite me and make me smile like stuff used to.. but thats when i discovered your impeccable style and amazing showmanship, i was baffled at the finger style technique you effortlessly pulled off and felt compelled to show my friends who were equally amazed, and from there i said i have to get learning! now im happier then ive ever been with my guitar playing after learning most of paul simons arrangement of anji (which i would kill too hear you do a version of.. not literally of course but would be a dream come true lol) i hope one day im able to play one of your tunes to at least 10% of your ability! i guess you could say im addicted to your groove haha if you come to england again (hopefully somewhere near brighton) ill be sure to come see you with a couple friends! thank you very much for taking your time to read this and good luck with the future tommy youve changed my perspective on the impossible!

Hello Tommy, my name is Jack. I am an Australian from polish background, and so is my wife. Our two children were born in Australia- Melbourne, and since year 2011 we have been living in the UK. We have moved down here for our 17 year old son, who is making a career in football, after being spotted in Australia. We live in Stoke on Trent, and it is a dull town. You would certainly liven it up. Do You plan to come back to the UK for concerts ? I am a great fan of Yours, and think that you are a genius as a player and a composer. I am also a guitarist and have studied it for quite some time. You are an inspiration to me. I wander if You could answer to my letter, it would be a great honor. Your greatest fan Jack

Tommy... you truly are an amazing fella... Thank you for all that you do to promote music (REAL MUSIC) with the young people around the world!

p.s. you really should look into visiting Western Canada some time. The Rocky Mountains near Calgary Alberta will astound you with their beauty and majesty... (and it would give ME a chance to experience your many and magnificent talents) :-)

I've been working on a run and I get to a certain part and can't get it right! I guess it's called a "Flam" Tried it for about 6 months now with no luck." I get it right about 10 out of 100 times". Tried a different position, It works, but doesn't sound as good. I don't know if I'm suppose to hammer it or pick it. I'd sure like to figure this out. Sometimes I wonder if i'm just stuck on a brain cell or something! I know it's hard without hearing what I'm doing but on a flam, do you pick it or hammer it?
Thanks much...

It was an absolute pleasure to be in the audience last night in Alice Springs. Your performance and words of inspiration were awesome. I left wishing all the youth in Alice Springs could be there to see and hear you......I sincerely hope you are able to continue to do the good work you do and continue to share your gift with us. Thank you. Jo

Dear Mr. Emmanuel,
I am a college student who has been playing guitar for 5 years. I have next to no time to practice because at the same time I also work. What should I do? I'm always tired after the day is up so I don't pick up my guitar because I have no energy. Anything you have as far as practice techniques that are quick and easy would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
