Hi Tommy

I am working on my first solo guitar album and would like some advice on equipment to record my album. I would be doing this from home. What would you recommend? And what would be the essential things I need to start?

Looking forward in hearing from you

Aleks

Tommy, I recently attended your concert in Ponte Vedra, FL on 2/20. I was lucky enough to be seated on the front row, dead center. What an awesome show you put on!!! Being a drummer and percussionist, you blew me away with your percussive style of play. I have seen you mulitple times on tv and the web, but I didn't think you could sound any better until I heard you in person for the first time. I was able to bring my good friend and quitarist Dustin Barber (The Rev Al Green's guitarist) with me and to watch his expressions all night was priceless. He has raved about it all week. Thanks again and looking forward to hearing you LIVE again!!

I saw you play last tonight in ft myers fl amazing. My uncle got sick do my dad took me he can't drive anymore

We have a question
It looked like the hole in your guitars had some kind of film covering inside
My father said no way
Maybe my eyes?
Is there some kind of material there?

The song about Chet Atkins to his dad was heart warming to me especially since I was there with my dad, care for him and cherish the time we have. It made the event even more special for me. A memory for life. Another thank you

You rock. Will be purchading CDs.

Dear Tommy . No words can explain what happened to me when I first hear 'Angelina' . In fact this is the only tune I've heard from you and for me it is enough to know who is the heart behind the wood .
I could write much more about it as I begin to discover your entire discography but time is short when it comes to saving a life.
The man outside my family whom I love more deeply is an amazing self-taught musician and composer who shares with you the same musical style (fingerpick)
I am fully confident that he has never heard any of your songs and yet seems to have grown with you. His name is Richard Viloria and if I you let me, I can show you something that I recorded about 10 years ago when he was a young man with many dreams.
He learned guitar from 10 to 12 and soon stood out in your neighborhood and hometown Valledupar - Colombia , far from any style known in the region . Likewise he learned to play piano and could never complete a formal music class because he has never tolerate any methodology, but he knows all the logic of the music and has a natural functional armony.
Many beautiful things he has done musically but his personal life was a disaster. Today approximately 37 years old, is completely absorbed by drugs (marijuana ) and wanders without clear direction, without visible attachment to the fate of their children.
I read your biography and I found, in addition to the music, a lot of similarities and I feel that God is showing me – with your life and music - a great opportunity for my friend to wake up and regain the spirit inside wich was put there to cheer the universe with his music.
Tell me if you are interested to hear him, see him on video and get in touch with him through a loving message from your heart and help us to send away the monster that is devouring inside every day.
Thanks.

Hello Tommy, how are you? I am writing as I have a positive complaint, my husband and I are mega fans of yours, we live in Denmark and are wondering why you never come here anymore. It has been years since your last visit. Is Denmark in your future plans, we would love to see you perform again.
Hope to hear from you soon, cheers

Hi!

I met Tommy a couple years ago in Burlington, Vt. He was gracious and allowed my 12 year old daughter Livie and I to meet with him in the Green Room at Higher Ground. It was an amazing experience!

I have played acoustic guitar since I was 8 (now 56), and my daughter plays acoustic, electric, bass, piano and is the first chair violinist with Vermont Youth Orchestra. Her experience meeting Tommy was HUGELY impactful! I also saw the show with my 21 year old son. He is an Alternative rock guy but loves acoustic. His mouth was wide open for the whole show.

I am flying from Vermont to Orlando to see Tommy and Martin on Friday. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to sit with Tommy before or after the show.

If Tommy and Martin are BEER FANS, I would happily bring with me 2 four packs of Heady Topper. Brewed in Vermont it is the #1 rated beer in the U.S. and #2 in the World! Only available in Vermont.

Thanks so much for the GREAT music and inspiration Tommy!

Kindest Regards,

Dave Yergeau

My wife and I sure enjoyed the show in Clearwater Saturday. I told her that somebody doesn't have that much joy without a lot of love behind it. Just an odd thought: I think they call it "beat-boxing", a newish trend in vocal percussion. I was just thinking that you just might be able to pull it off, and it would save a lot of wear and tear on the guitars!

I just wanted to thank you for such a spectacular show last night in Clearwater, Florida. My friends and I (all guitar players) came from Sarasota to see you and we got lost a few times on the way to the venue. Thank the Maker that we found our way to the show, as you transported me to a different musical world. I haven't been so moved by a concert since I saw The Who at the Fillmore East in 1969 and that was quite a bit ago. Thanks so much and come back to us here in the Gulf Coast of Florida whenever you tour. I'll be there.
