I can't think of a more deserving heir to the world's only "cgp" designation. I still dearly miss Mr. Atkins, as do we all who appreciate the instrument. Having been a player for over five decades, I now look to you for inspiration. Thank you.

Recently, (perhaps Louisiana Public Broadcasting in december 2013) we saw a song you played of what we think was a Navaho rain man(?) or medicine man(?) or something of the sort. As we recall, there was an older indian as part of the video. We have looked for this performance but can't find it. (What we do know is that it isn't your song "Trails.") If you can please let me know if this exist (or if I have lost my mind!)

Mark
PS - Saw you and Martin Taylor in Baton Rouge on Feb 8 at LSU Union Theatre. Great night!!

Tommy, really enjoyed and was blessed by your music tonight viewing it on Studio Amped program on Educational television filmed at Pensacola State College. We live in Milton, across the bay east of Pensacola (my hometown).

Hello Tommy,
My wife to be and I were at TommyFest in 2013 in E'town. We were very inspired by your story of how you came to write the song "Questions". We are now married and will be at TommyFest 2014 again for both performances. I would humbly ask if you play "Questions" that you would dedicate it to my wife, Jenny, who has struggled most of her life dealing with abuse received as a child. Since we've been together, God has started to answer many of her questions and a miraculous healing of those deep wounds from long ago has begun. Your song questions is a reminder to us of how something so wonderful can come out of what seems to be a tiresome, hopeless situation, if we just listen, trust and believe in what we are being called to do, especially when we are running on empty... Thanks so much for being so dedicated to your calling. You have blessed so many more than you know.
Kindest Regards,
David (and Jenny)

Hi. I'd like to gift my partner a ticket to one of your guitar workshops or camps either in New Zealand (where we live) or Australia and have missed these in the past. I've just looked through your posted dates to see if there is anything listed but can't see that there is. Please advise if you have any plans to hold these in 2014 down in this part of the world and if so likely dates and locations. Many thanks, Michelle

We met Tommy at a meet and greet in San Diego and had a delightful evening. I related so much with Tommy and Chet Atkins begin playing about the same time
as Tommy but was forced to put skills on hold while we raised our 6 kids. It was so good to have the fires re-kindeld with your pure gift.

on another note, I know you are a fan of the Duke, My uncle was his personal driver for his last three movies. From his accounts Mr Wayne was every bit the hero and gentleman in person as he was on the screen.

I still could use some help with the mechanics of harmonics. I have a 61 hard tail statocaster the I love but am having a hard time with harmonics oher than the 12th fret. any advice? hope you get this

thanks for the joy

Tommy,
Thank you sooo much for the shout out to my wife, Nan in Denver on her birthday (Feb 6)! Show was amazing and that just made it extra special for her. Amusing (sort of) side story... after you talked on Thursday about why you don't ski, we headed to the mountains and I fell skiing on Saturday, completely tearing the UCL, which is the ligament that attaches your thumb to the base of your hand. Fortunately I don' play guitar for a living! Surgery is on Thursday. Wish me luck. :-)

Best regards,
Steve

I hear these sounds in my head, I didn't know of you until yesterday when I was trying to find that music. I've been playing for 50 years now, but after listening to you I need another 50 to learn. I love your amazing grace song. Have you done "How great thou Are"?
What strings would you would on a Taylor?

Thank You for sharing your music with us that love playing it with all of our hearts.
