My wife and I have been fortunate enough to attend several of your performances but I have to say the one last night in Des Moines was the best I've seen. Besides phenomenal playing you made time to speak to the audience and even tell a few accordion jokes. It made me remember a similar joke you can use. The definition of perfect pitch - the sound a banjo makes when it hits the trash can.

Take care,
Rex Andersen.

What a thrill it was to sit in the front row at your show in Des Moines, Iowa last night. 3 hours of pure entertainment! Besides being a master guitar player, you are a master showman as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show, please come to back to Iowa anytime!

I just watched you perform at the Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines, IA. What a lovely evening! Your spirit soared above your uncomparable talent. It was an unplanned evening for me, and one I will not forget. Thank you for sharing your soul. You touched me.

Attended the Grand Rapids, Michigan show on Sunday night. What an amazing night? I was fortunate enough to get to meet you before the show, backstage.
Not only have you been incredibly blessed with talent, but you are an incredibly gracious and kind gentleman as well.
You have another fan for life... Blessings for continued success my friend.

Hi Tommy, this is a short message but I have a small request for you.

It would mean the world if you can do a recording/youtube video of your rendition of Kentucky mixed with Cowboy's dream. I heard it during your toronto concert this summer, and I loved it so much but cannot find a good recording of it anywhere.

Thank you so much!!! I've been a fan since I was 12 and I went to every single one of your concerts in Toronto. Please come again soon!

Greetings from Canada,

I just want to thank Tommy ( who I now will call "William"! LOL ) again for his generosity with his time and graciousness during our meet and greet visit last Saturday night in Columbus Ohio. He signed a CD for my 9 year old great niece Dani who could not be there that night.

She has watched his PBS special NUMEROUS times and is a big fan so when I gave her the autographed CD and told her I met him, etc. she was THRILLED! So, thank you again!

My son Steven and I were also completely blown away ( like everyone else ) by the performance. You are an absolute master of your instrument, not only because of your finger dexterity and amazing technical skills, but because you use those skills to inspire joy...

It was truly an honor to meet you and a great inspiration watching, hearing ( and feeling ) the wonderful music that pours through you.

As a big fan of Chet, I also love the fact that you are taking fingerpicking and spreading it all over this world. His spirit must be smiling quite often.
Last but not least, I forgot to tell you how much we enjoy your vocals! You're so damned over-the-top masterful on guitar that your vocal abilities get lost in the shuffle - but if you weren't one of the greatest guitarist EVER, you could have easily made a career as a singer.

Well, I'm sure you hear this stuff everyday, but I only get this chance to express it to you - so my sincerest thanks again for being one of the few authentic musicians who really understand that it's about the music, the joy and the spirit of love.

- take care "William"!!!

Tommy, I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to introduce my son Caleb to you at last night's show in Grand Rapids. You are a huge influence to him and his playing and it meant the world to this young 14 year old finger-style player be able to meet you. You were so kind to him, my wife and I. And, such a gentleman. Not just your amazing playing, but you are truly a class act as a person! Sincerely, Mark
