Sent my oldest daughter your "Still Can't say Goodbye" video.
She replied back that I made her "boo hoo"
And also said "One Christmas Night was the prettiest song ever"
I have enjoyed every song you play, truly an inspiration to all pickers.
Maybe my wife and I can make it to Durham this summer.

Dear Tommy
In my list of truly Great Guitarists, you are number one. I must have played all of your stuff on You Tube, hundreds of times and intermingled with your fantastic Guitar playing your kind and friendly manner always shines through.
Your modesty is very humbling for an aged struggling musician such as I.
May you always receive back the kindness and joy you give to others.
Best wished to your and yours.

Dear Tommy Emmanuel,
As a student in 3rd and last year photography in Paris, I am acheiving a photographic assembly which must be visualised for my final examination in june 2013. I have been listening to your music for many years alrealdy and, when I had to look for a music track for my assembly I immediately thought of yours. I would have liked to use your song "The finger lakes" which truly corresponds with the atmosphere I would like to fit into my assembly.
Let me explain in a few words my final exam project : I am acheiving a photo/video report about a district expanding in the parisian suburbs. I am practising intitutionnal and private company photography. As a matter of facts, my images and video will be useful for the advertising device of a trade center and of Arcueil city house. Therefore, would you allow me to make use of your song for this project ? If it is the case, please send me a mail or scan a paper stating your permission. Of course, you will be quoted as the author.
Wishing my request can receive your agreement, and looking forward to hear from you again,
Yours, sincerely,
Lisa Cambefort

Hi Tommy,
I went to your recent show at Ulverston(the birthplace of Stan Laurel) and you and Martin were just brilliant......though I'm not a big fan of jazzy guitar to be honest, but Martin plays beautifully, such a tone, I really enjoyed it. You on the other hand are something else, extraordinary, apart from the effortless, ridiculous skill, the way you perform and your whole stage presence is truly magical, It was the most special night of my life...thankyou so much and you're such a brilliant, lovely man, it was a privelege to see you perform and I am coming to as many shows as possible next time you're touring, God bless you:):):)

Hi,cher Tommy,
Georges

Hey Tommy, Man you are awsome!!!
I have always been a Rory Gallagher adept. Maybe not the best guitarist in the world but what struck me in his music was his emotion. Straight through the heart.
Since his passing I never found another who gave me the same feeling... ( best compliment I can give you :-))))
Untill i discovered your music. Many thanks for that and I will try to imitate you for I am a guitarist myself. But I will need some study for years and years and years.......
Keep up the good work
