We will be at Elgin Community College on Wed. Sept 18. If you want to let a holler for Will n' Way, you can. Lots has happened since we saw you in '09. Both our mothers have died. So we r both hurting, but glad to be together. Just celebrated our 34 wedd. ann.
We danced on our wedd. day to a song entitled "where there's a Will, there's a Way' by Brenda and the Tabulations(Motown artist). I keep a copy on my iPhone that I was able to download.
Look forward to the show!
Hugs! Will n' Way

hallo tommy,

My wife and I enjoyed your concert so much tonight in Burnsville, MN; but you touched me so deeply that I had to write you about your rendition of "I Still Can't Say Goodbye". I lost my dad last year to Alzheimer's. It took away my best friend in the world…one piece at a time. It took him too soon. He was only 72. There is nothing worse than seeing one you love suffer when you cannot do a thing to help. By the first chorus I was in tears and I am still weeping as I type this. Thank you for sharing my pain through your song and reminding me of the precious, healing memories that strengthen the soul in grief. Next June, when we spread Dad’s ashes on the Big Island of Hawaii, I'm going to play this song. More than I can say. I needed that tonight, thanks so much, Tommy.

Forever touched,

Doug Cavin

We just came home from your concert in Burnsville and we are feeling embarrassed about being so tongue tied. Your were so generous to step around the autograph table to shake my husband's hand. He is blind and wouldn't normally be out at a concert but we were so exciting to hear you play your guitar in person. We are new fans because of YouTube. ( One Month old fans). Not only your talent shines through but your generous spirit. Thank you. As my mom use to say, "Blessings on you."

Ever since my guitar teacher introduced me to Angelina and your music, you have changed my life. I love it! I recently went to college but my dream is still with my guitars and music. You are a constant inspiration. Usually I don't buy my music but last night I spent all my itunes credit on you. I love your christmas album, and its only September and i'm listening to it! I spend hours trying to master the thumb independence thing. You are the only reason I even thought about picking up a thumb pick.. Its hard but it sounds amazing. I was alot into rock music like Van Halen and ac/dc and that kind of music, so its a weird transition into your fingerstyle. I especially loved you and your brothers ac/dc medley. wow everything is good. all your chet stuff. you moved my musical thinking a whole lot more open and bigger. I just want to say thanks. And someday I hope to play maybe half as good as you, ill take that. today you played in madison and it sucks i couldnt go because me and my guitar teacher scott seriously thought about going, and I already regret going. All i thought about today. so come back! and we will be there for sure. thanks for everything tommy,

Tommy, thank you so much for the amazing show last night in Green Bay! I hope we as an audience gave you what you need to start off this tour. You played all my favorites: Angelina, Mombasa, Classical Gas, and I added a few more to my list of favorites!

Words cannot express how much we enjoyed meeting you before the concert, and how grateful I am to you for signing, tuning, and PLAYING my guitar. :o)) I think I was too awestruck to thank you last night, but I truly appreciate it. I broke out the finger style guitar book tonight, so maybe I'll see you at a TommyFest down the road!

Again, thank you for sharing your passion and your gift with the world. I hope you realize how much you're appreciated!

Tommy, I am attending your concert in Madison, WI in 7 hours. I knew about your work through my cousin. When I asked my cousin if it was worth "$30-$40 and the hassle of getting off of work" in order to see you play, he replied that a ticket to one of your shows is worth "$200 and a body in the trunk."

So, I purchased the ticket and even subsidized a couple of tickets so that two of my co-workers can attend with me.

Thanks for your time and I look forward to the show!
