I have always been a Rory Gallagher adept. Maybe not the best guitarist in the world but what struck me in his music was his emotion. Straight through the heart.
Since his passing I never found another who gave me the same feeling... ( best compliment I can give you :-))))
Untill i discovered your music. Many thanks for that and I will try to imitate you for I am a guitarist myself. But I will need some study for years and years and years.......
Keep up the good work

My name is Ryan Taylor and I am 5 years old. My favorite song is 'I Still Can't Say Goodbye.' I like to play the guitar too. My daddy and grandpa took me to see you play in Salt Lake City back in January. It was awesome. I like the way you were drumming on your guitar. It was neat to see such a bang. It was fun to see you play the guitar. You even played a song about my home town. I listen to your songs before bed every night. I have my own guitar my grandpa gave to me and want to play just like you.
Thank you for coming to Utah so I could see you play. I would like to meet you in person some day.

Followed and seen you for years and love your approach to music and humanity.
To business: the nerdy question! Do you use your nails or not and why?

Hope you're doing well ! I'd just like to take the time to say that you are one of my greatest influences towards my guitar playing and could sit and listen to you for hours, you have been such an inspiration. I was hoping to meet you in march last year when you played Perth concert all but unfortunately for me I was busy with my university work. Hopefully us Scot's weren't such bad company that you don't come visit again ! I'd love to have my guitar and myself signed by you (aiming to get some of the most influential people in my life's signatures tattooed on myself.. you're up there with Sir David Attenborough on my list of MUST MEET people, you are simply breathtaking. That all may seem a bit silly I know but you really seriously have changed my life with your music.) Hope to see you sometime in the very near future !
Thank you so much.
Please come back to Scotland soon !
All the best, take care.
P.s Feel free to message me on facebook or anything ! I'd love a chat with the master himself ! Especially during this exam time I'd very much like something to keep my spirits up !

Love you music and humility.
I noticed that you might be visiting Dallas sometime in October would it be possible to have a show in San Antonio Tx also?
Thanks and God Bless,

Hello My name is Lynne Moseley and my nephew Andrew is a mad guitarist and drummer. Andrew is turning 21 this year (in July) and I am desperate to obtain some old original sheet music or some old picks and strings of Mr Emanuels (to have framed for him) I know he would just be so chafed. I have no idea how to go about this and am looking for any assistance or advice you might be able to provide. Thank you Lynne Moseley

Your music literally, when I'm at my worst, makes me understand that beauty in the world can make everything seem worthwhile.
I wonder if it would be possible for you to record a version of the old Elton John/Bernie Taupin love song "Your Song." This is a song I learned to play (poorly) and sing to my wife of just short of eight years (we've both been to several of your concerts and will go to more). I'd love to sing it to her on our Anniversary May 15 but with the best guitarist in the world playing rather than one of the worst!
I don't know if you ever get a request like this, but I'd be happy to make a significant contribution to a charity of your choosing in exchange (I understand that simply paying you would be crass).
Thanks for your consideration.
