Thank you for an amazing 2 hours during the show in Tel-Aviv. My jaw muscles were sore from 2 hours of smiling.

Lobbied to get you on KUED public television in Utah. Don't know if it had an impact, but KUED finally aired your "Center Stage" program last night. The program was part of its December pledge drive. The response was overwhelming; the phones were ringing off the hook. The hosts said at the end of the program they had exceeded their fundraising goal. My wife and i pledged and got two tickets to your Jan. 26 show at Kingsbury Hall. Can't wait to see you perform again. It was funny, at the beginning of the show, one of the hosts was saying she didn't really know about you. By program's end, all the hosts were gushing about how great you are. Seeing is believing, as they say. We look forward to seeing you in Salt Lake City. Give our regards to Gina.

God bless,

Mark & Patti Eddington

Hi Tommy !

I talked a little bit with you after the concert in Linköping, in Sweden, and I realised afterwards that I forgot to ask you 2 questions !

The first one was about "The man with the green thumb". You said that, to write it, you got inspired by a song but I cannot remember what was the tittle or the artist ! Can you help me with that ?

The second one was about "Papa George" that you played as the first piece. I LOVE this music and I would really like to be able to play it.
However, I think that I am not enough skilled yet to be able to cover it properly just by listening, so I wanted to ask you if you could make me a great Christmas present by sending me a tab of this one (if it doesn't bother you of course) ? =)

Thank you for your great playing, your kindness and this happiness that you give us everytime you play !

All the best for Christmas !

Thomas

Hi Tommy,

Me and a friend of mine visited your show in Nürnberg on 19th November 2012. Now we are closer fans of you as ever before.
Of course we play guitar, too. My friend learned to play "Windy and Warm" in your style. Only a few patterns he couldn`t check out yet.
Unfortunately we didn`t know about meeting you before the concert was starting.
So, whenever you come to Nürnberg again please notice, that we would be very glad seeing you before concert starts.
I`m sure you will have much fun with him. He is very talented.
Thanks a lot for reading this mail and keep on playing.

Yours

Inge

My husband and I were at home having a glass of wine by the fire. After the news we were "surfing the tube" and ou local PBS station featuring YOU.

My husband, Merrill plays guitar , He is 97 and studied under Montoya in Spain in the 50's. He has several guitars I fondly ca his mistresses.

Well, we heard you. Merrill stood up and was 3" away from the screen repeating
" Wow" "Incrediable" " Unbelievable"

I forgot to breathe. You are Amazing!!

Thank you,
This is a night we won't forget

I am about to watch your PBS show "Tommy Emmanuel: Center Stage". I played a harmonica for twenty years. After watching a Hendrix special in early 2011, I picked up a guitar for the first time (an acoustic guitar) on March 19 of the same year. I have never been comfortable playing with a pick. I thought this was a handicap, but after learning the basic chords, I watched videos of you, Joan Baez, Ali Farka Toure, Boubacar "Kar Kar" Traore, and Chet Atkins play without a pick, and I knew I it would get better (youtube.com/VypalonG). PBS describes you as: "The acoustic guitarist delivers a dazzling performance with showmanship, flair and flawless skills." From seeing your videos, I completely agree. You're also coming to Tucson where I live! I can't wait to see you in concert live! My next acoustic guitar will be a Maton!

Tommy,

I first had the opportunity to listen to you at a concert in Austin on my birthday I believe in 2005. I brought my grandson to hear you about three years after that, the next time you came to Austin. Got him hooked... When I found out that you where playing the Wasa theater in Stockholm, I called my old highschool friends and told them to buy tickets so we could all go. Got them hooked too. Now I have spread your CD's around with my golf buddies hear in Georgetown, Texas and I have them hooked too. So, the big question is, when are you booking your next concert in Austin? I have a group of guys that would like nothing better that come and enjoy an eveing of Tommy Emanuel guitar music.

Regards,

Bob
