It may be presumptuous of us but we would love to invite you to dinner here in our home. Here in New Mexico we have a saying "Mi Casa I Su Casa" My home is your home.
It would be an honor to treat you to a quiet home atmosphere and a good New Mexican supper.

I'm George from Athens (Greece), and a great fan of you!
I'm an electric guitar student for the last 3 years (and I have an 8-year history playing piano few years ago)
At my 30s and being already married with a little child, I decided that I had to start playing the guitar, that I love so much!...
First of all I want to say a big "Thank you" for the music you give to us (the world).
I've spent hours watching your performances and I think you are one of the few best guitarists of the world!...
I admire your finger style of your playing and especially admire the way you understand and "place" the music on the fretboard.
I mean the seamless connection of all the scale patterns, all the variety of the chord types and styles, and all the kinds of embellishment you do!...
You make it seem so flowless and easy, but the same time I know it is of the highest level!...
I have read that you have never read music...
So we are talking for a big talent of yours, and this is another reason for me to admire you even more...
In my case, I have a teacher and I study the guitar the "typical", formal way, you know, with the types of chords organized, the patterns of scales and all that staff. I want to be able to play some good music with my guitar, this is my hope!...
As I study (3rd year now from the beggining) I realise that I have to (and I want to) let myself more free, above the patterns and the klises, and improvise more and more.
I don't know if it (the formal instruction) is the right way to really learn playing guitar qualitatively. I'll find out in a few years
I hope that it will be yourself that will read my letter... (and not any assistant of yours)
I also hope that maybe I see you live in Athens, at a concert, if you would like to arrange it (we love you here!)
