It was great to see your shows last fall in Ridgefield, CT and in June in Hartford, Ct. Both were fantastic. It was a special pleasure to meet you in Hartford. Thanks so much for taking the time to do that and for supporting CPTV. I hope to catch another show sometime soon.

I recently acquired a gretsch black duo jet signed To Uncle Tuck, From Tommy Emmanuel and many other great pickers. I am trying to find some information on this beautiful piece of musical history. It also plays and sounds like a dream. Pictures can be sent if you need them.
Thanks for your consideration,
Dave Scopelliti

Dear Mr. Emmanuel and/or staff,

My name is Kari and I am a sixteen year old girl living in California. I highly doubt this will even reach anyone close to Mr. Emmanuel but this is my last hope. Last week my boyfriend of six months broke up with me for no reason. Now that may not sound like a big deal to anyone but I've had an extremely difficult family life for the past six years and growing up, he was the first person I ever trusted and loved in a long time. Anyway, the point of this message.. it's his birthday on July 22nd and I was going to get him a nice guitar case because his is falling apart. He is AMAZING at guitar and he's never even had a lesson. I've been planning this for a long time but now his Mom seems to think that is too big of a present now that we're not together anymore. I've been racking my brain trying to think of something to get him but I cannot think of anything because it either seems too personal or not personal enough. Anyway, Tommy Emmanuel is probably his biggest inspiration of all time and he looks up to you in so many ways. So I guess what I am asking is, do you think there is any possible way to come meet him, or give a private concert (that is probably never going to happen but I'm a dreamer, what can I say..), or an autograph or inspirational letter or just anything you could give..? Please! If you would like money I have some from working part time, I think I have about $400 saved. I know it's not much and whoever reading this is probably laughing at this but I was told once that "hope is a good thing" so I'm trying to be hopeful and hold onto the hope that maybe this will somehow reach someone who cares. It would mean the world to me, but most of all; to him. I just want to show him I still care about him and want to give him a present he deserves because he's been the biggest happiness in my life for a long time. Please help me anyway that you can. I would be more grateful than anyone ever has been..if you want to contact me, you may on YouTube and/or my email.
Sincerely, A Girl Who Dreams.

Your version of Blue Moon kills! Are you using standard tuning? Or something more exotic? I've tried to crack this one, but the sounds don't seem to match up with where your hand is on the fingerboard.

Many thanks!

To the colonel and the governor:

I have just purchased your CD from my local bookstore after hearing "I wish I knew how it would feel to be free" on my city's independent radio station KDHX. I thought the song was beautiful, and I'm so happy to now be listening to the entire album. I'm a fan of both Irving Berlin and Hoagy Carmichael so hearing Heat Wave and Lullaby of Birdland absolutely delighted me! Thank you for the lovely music - it is not too often in a musical landscape dominated by pop music and repetitive refrains that instrumental beauty is so rightfully celebrated and classic tunes are so quietly honored. Please know "One Day" is one of my favorites on the album, though they all speak to me in a wonderfully inspiring way.

hi Tommy. i have followed and listened to your music for over 20 years my 2 girls 11 & 15 have also listened to your playing since they where born. i have meet you 3 times over the years after shows but never really got the time to tell you how much your music means to me. i tell my family all the time that one day i will get to have a little jam with you. I'm 52 this year but hey i can always dream. is there any way you or your management could send me a short note or email. even if it only says hi Steve thanks for the letter. just so i can show the family and say see!! my dream is getting closer. but until then I'll do the next best thing and see you play live. thanks again Tommy you are truly an inspiration not just as a guitar player but as a person..Steve Simpson
