Tommy...ummm...or Mr Emmanuel.

I wanted firstly to thank you for the gift you gave me early in life as a teenager of your passion and conviction not to mention dedication to your craft, but also now as a ....ummm 40 year old parent...the gift you have given my 8 year old son. He has without a word of a lie, gone to bed and refused to have anything else played whilst he dozes off than DETERMINATION which is one of my all time favorite "Start to finish" Albums....right up there with pearl Jam's ten. My wife and I have so many quiet nights to thank you for and I wrote this as he started listening to Determination at about the age of 3 and only tonight I had a meditaion CD in there and he asked if it was Tommy...and when I mentioned that you don't play the Harp (yet) he almost demanded I return Tommy back to his rightful place in his CD player.

So thank you again for all the joy you have bought myself and my family for such a long time.
I saw you when I was younger and you signed a Classical gas CD cover for me and were so humble in doing so.

I wish to give my son the joy and wonder of seeing you perform in Australia and checking your website it appears that you might be in Brisvegas around NOV 2013.
I hope so as it would bring us all as a family to come and see you perform.

Owing you dearly

Matthew Fleming

I just wanted to thank you Tommy for (For those who wait) I have to say it is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever had the extreme pleasure to listen to. Thank you so much for all the great music you bring into this world.

Tommy, great to meet you after the show tonight in Fredericton. I was the "young man" (your words, not mine) who thanked you for the Chet tribute at the end of the show. Thanks for coming to Fredericton and giving, without a doubt, the best performance I have ever seen in the Playhouse. I hope you're able to come back at some point in another tour - in the meantime, good luck on the road and have a good tour. Also hope that muscle pull heals soon. You didn't do it any favours tonight! >grin< Be well. Happy BD.

Thanks so much for including Halifax on your tour. I have been a fan for a long time and thought I would never get a chance to see you play live. That is one more thing off my bucket list now.
We would all love to see you come back again.
Also thanks for having Brooke Miller share the gig. She is a major up and coming talent and she complements your show beautifully.
Regards from all your fans in Nova Scotia.

Hello Tommy!

I am proud and extremely happy to have been at your performance at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium in Halifax, Nova Scotia this past Saturday. I am a whole year younger than you and have had some rare musical experiences over the years, but none like sharing the evening with you.
As I sat in the audience beside a good pal, another life-long traveller on the road that leads to spreading the joy of music, laughter and a few tears and an immense gratitude for your generosity of spirit overwhelmed us both.
Love the new song - your stunning piece for the Navaho. We could see their life in the air in front of us, painted on the canvas of ear and mind.

I am left wondering ..... what the heck do you eat for breakfast to be able to shine such a powerful light!! Whatever it is - keep eating it!

Thanks from the bottom of my heart,
Steve

Hi tommy
I have watched you perform for many years in Sydney, truly great to see how well your going overseas mate ,it's great to see your still performing with the same passion as you did some twenty years ago.
If you let me know when your back in Sydney / nelson bay as my wife and I would love to have you over for a Sunday lamb roast ......oh,and also would love to see you play live close by ,as watching you on utube is excellent but there is nothing like the real thing.
So if you don't mind, can you let me know when you are performing in nsw and I will go and talk to my local butcher.
We wish you all the best OS and hope to see you soon

Regards
Laurie

Hi Tommy
Just a big thanks. My wife, Hilary, and I took in your show on Saturday May 25 and had a woderful time. I must admit I am a johnny come lately fan because I only found you by accident (a happy one) on the internet when I was learning to play Classical Gas. I am glad you are considering comming back to Halifax Nova Scotia again because I am certain there are far more people who would love to hear you play.
The guitar has been a passion of mine since I was ten (now 58) and it is more than just an instrument. It is peace and solice in ways some do not understand. But I know you do. It shows in your work (calling). Your calling is a gift to you and more importantly to us who you grace with your playing. TC

Hi!

My question is if Tommy has listened to Leo Kottke and what Tommy thinks of Leo's music?

Thanks very much, long time fan!
