Hi'
Well, if you by any chance read this, I want to tell you that you are the greatest guitar player in the world!
I am almost 50 and been playing electric for over 30 years, gigin' recording and teaching.
The moment i heard you about 5 years ago, I got and acoustic and haven't played the electric, only if I have to.
I hooked and your music and how you cover songs, and since then there was not a day gone by without listening , seeing, and trying to play your songs.
Greatest inspiration ever, looking forward seeing you here in Israel again.
Yaron

First of all...Mr. Emmanuel, I think you are the greatest guitar player ever. I have you on my DVR and watch you 3-4 times a week....such a blessing!!! I live just above Montgomery,AL and wanted sooo much to see you on the 26th...but my wife is about to go in labor with our first child just any time now...wouldn't miss that for nothing in the world!!!! Even though I'm gonna miss ya, I wanted to thank you for coming to Alabama and was wondering when you would be back in Montgomery again....I sure don't want to miss you again!!!! Thanks for being such an inspiration to many......
One of your MANY fans,
Scott Jackson

Tommy, just stumbled across you on You Tube and am amazed at your playing and the tone you get from your guitar and amplification. My question is do you use any effects? It does not really sound like you do, I am a guitar player but not as your level and I am always trying to get the best acoustic tone from my guitars and amplification. What do you suggest?
Thank you so much for your time

I will be at the Newberry Opera house this Sunday 3/pm and looking forward to the performance...I just finished a guitar building class from Wayne Henderson in August. Wayne says to tell you Hello when and if I see you.

Mr. Emmanuel, I wanted to let you know that you are making a difference in someone's life, my husband, (who is a guitarist), who was in a horrific accident just two days before our wedding, (a 3,000 lbs. piece of machinery fell on top of him). I know the likelihood of you (yourself) receiving/seeing this message is probably relatively small, since you are so busy, but I want to try anyway. As I said, he was in terrible accident that paralyzed him from the waist down & we were told he would probably never walk again (along w/ seven broken ribs, ruptured spleen, lacerated colon & other injuries).
We spent the next four months in the hospital/rehab. I spent everyday w/ him, watching him learn to walk again. He can walk today, for short distances--he is truly a walking miracle. It has been a long, hard road & he is still in quite a bit of pain. We got married after rehab & celebrated our 21st anniv. just a couple of weeks ago. We have been singing full-time ever since, ministering in churches, prisons, marriage seminars, rodeos, etc. & helping w/ homeless shelters.
As I said, he's still in pain & here's where you come in--music is his passion. He has been a musician/singer all his life (worked for yrs. as a performer in Opryland USA's most popular show & has been on the Grand Ole' Opry several times). Music helps him get through the day, & most of the time, it's YOUR music. He has almost 25,000 songs on his iPod, but you are mostly what he listens to & he has most all your videos 'Saved' on his laptop. When he's having a good day, he enjoys the music, when he's in pain, music, (mostly YOUR music), gets him through it, and I want to thank you for that. When he gets depressed about not being able to do the things he used to, or because we are currently having to live in a 24x48 garage/room, that is NOT wheelchair accessible, because his accident/medications still affect us financially, (there is a fund being set up to help us get our first home that is accessible), he puts on your music & it eases his mind. He is a fantastic guitarist, but you inspire him to be even better (he has said many times).
We are going to have the honor of seeing you in concert Sept. 28 at Istrouma Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA (we are from Lake Charles & will be driving to see you). It was his anniversary gift from me. The founder of Guitar Dreamers, Bro. Carlton, has invited us to meet you backstage before the concert. I haven't told Tim yet, kind of want it to be a surprise.
Thank you for sharing your gift w/ the world (Tim is often told that, too, after people hear him sing & play). He is a wonderful, selfless, man who, even w/ all he goes through, never complains. God bless you & we cannot wait to meet you. A thankful wife, KYM COUCH

Tommy
Wonderful experience for all of us at Surflight on Sunday afternoon. My son is still smiling at having met you. Our thanks for not only your welcoming spirit but also to your entire team who are equally generous (and probably don't get thanked nearly enough)

Don't you ever come to Omaha, Nebraska? We would love to see you out here in the flyover state!

Hi Tommy! We come to LBI every year based on your schedule here. We love the "Not a career move" shows. This year I am initiating three friends at Tuesday night's show. I know its a long shot, but I can't think of a better way to introduce you to them is "Initiation". Thanks for considering it.
See you on the beach!

Love listening to your tunes. Your playing is amazing and do wish you would come to Canada (Saskatchewan) to do a concert. There's just something cool about acoustic guitar.
