**Purple Haze made it into Tommy’s setlist for the Walnut Valley Festival on September 15th!**

 

 

 

Tommy will be a featured performer on the 46th annual MDA Labor Day Telethon on Sunday September 4th, 2011.  The show will air in every US time zone from 6pm to midnight.

MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.

The long running show, hosted by Jerry Lewis, has changed in format slightly and this year will be fast-paced and jam-packed with topnotch entertainment.  Since it’s start in 1955, the MDA Telethon has grown to reach nearly 40 million viewers in the US and Canada annually and raised nearly $60 million.

Tommy will be on with Frank Vignola and Vinny Raniolo in the “prime time” slot of the telethon (the third hour of broadcast).  They will all return to join the finale spectacular at the end of the show.
